Holy cow! Can it get any better? The 2012 AMA Vintage Dirt Track National Championship Series is making its Monster Mountain debut on May 5th and 6th, 2012! The Monster Mountain staff and crew couldn’t be more proud than to host this prestigious event! From brakeless two-stroke legends to the massive 750cc thumpers and every legendary machine in between will be in action on Monster Mountain’s brand new short track! Bring your steel shoe, or just a friend and come watch some of the best racing you’ll ever see, as these national Championship contenders put their skills and vintage hardware to the test! Monster Mountain is kicking off the 2012 racing season in style with a massive weekend of racing! On Saturday, the CAMS Series and the SACS Series roll into town for organized practice on the main national caliber track while the hot shoe crowd breaks in Monster’s new short track as Round 3 of the Alabama Flattrack Championship Series brings a new brand of racing to Tallassee, Alabama! then on Sunday, we start things off with Faith Racers Ministries Church Service at 7:30 followed by an 8am Rider’s meeting at 8:30 practice. Then the motocross crowd will get it on on one the of nation’s best outdoor tracks as the Central Alabama Motocross Series riders collide with the South Alabama Championship riders! Throw in a mix of other riders all over the south – and you have one great show! One great facility, two great tracks, two types of racing – are you kidding me? You won’t want to miss this one!

April 28th marks a new chapter in the long and storied history of racing at Monster Mountain as Flat Track racing comes to the Monster! While the motocross crowd is getting their lines dialed in on the big track Saturday, some of the finest flattrackers in the South will be wickin’ it up on our brand new short track! Gates open at 7am. Gate fee is $10 with 6 and under free. In between practices on the motocross track, CAMS and SACS riders can come over and qualify for the main event in the knobby classes! Monster Monster is proud to announce it will play host to the Central Alabama Motocross Series for the third straight year! With the new season, CAMS continues to grow! CAMS riders have come to expect great service and quality quality racing at top notch facilities. 2012 will be more of the same – with the addition of Crossbone MX, Riverside Motocross, and Cadillac Ranch to the already incredible lineup which includes Noah’s Motopark, the flagship of the CAMS Series as well as Mill Creek, Atmore MX and of course Monster Mountain! If you’re looking for a wide variety of racing experiences with a strong lineup of quality tracks, the 2012 CAMS Series is just what you’re looking for!

Monster Mountain MX Park has teamed up with three premier central-south Alabama tracks to provide riders from central and south Alabama, the Florida pan handle, and south east Mississippi with and outstanding new series. 2012 is the inaugural season for the South Alabama Championship Series. The 14-round series will run from March through October. Riders must participate in a least one race at each of the four tracks, and race in at least 9 of the 14 rounds to qualify for series awards. 12 races count toward series points. We don’t know if motocross heaven looks like Monster Mountain’s main outdoor track – but we get asked that alot….. Want to ride a track with near pefect soil, sick elevation changes, a fast-flowing design, and spot-on track prep and maintenance? There are a lot of great tracks in the South – many that fit that description – we’re proud to be one of them. Come see why it’s not unusual to see license plates in our RV area from California to Canada. During our winter schedule, we’re open seven days a week from 10am -4pm. If you come, you’ll meet lots of great folks from the South, plus riders from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Massacheusetts, Conneticut, New Hampshire and our many friends from Canada. So bring plenty of bench racing stories and lots of Simple Green…..(or Suzuki Bike Wash…) because at Monster Mountain, everyone is family.

As of November 1st, 2011 Monster Mountain became a Membership track. To practice at Monster Mountain, riders must either purchase an Annual Memership (which gets you a Member t-shirt and the right to practice at the Members-rate of $20 per day) or pay $25 per day to practice (which includes the cost of a one-day Membership).
