And suddenly that start your rider has practiced over and over looks completely different. Sound familiar? We hear some version of it from parents after big races all the time. That’s exactly why we're doing something different at Monster Mountain MX Training Academy. FULL GATE START TRAINING CAMP Saturday, September 12 Training: 8:00–11:00 AM Open Practice: 11:00 AM–4:00 PM $75 per rider — INCLUDING OPEN PRACTICE This isn't three hours of taking turns doing individual starts. We want gates FULL. We're creating a race-simulated environment where riders can repeatedly experience the pressure, noise, movement and competition of lining up beside other racers—without having to wait until their next big race to get that experience. Riders will be grouped by bike size: 50s ~ 65s ~ 85s ~ Big Bikes We'll have multiple trainers working with the groups and riders will get plenty of repetitions through both individual and group starts. And here's where we need the moto community to help make this work - THE MORE RIDERS WHO SIGN UP, THE BETTER THIS TRAINING BECOMES. If your 65 rider needs experience launching beside a gate full of 65s, we need other 65 riders there. Same for the 50s. Same for the 85s. Same for the big bikes. Instead of all of us saying after the next big race, "We just need more experience on a full gate," let's get those riders together and CREATE that experience. Three hours. Start after start after start. Then when training ends at 11:00, your $75 also includes Open Practice from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM.
