We’re open most Saturdays and Sundays throughout the spring, summer and fall. In the winter, we’re open 7 days a week between Christmas and New Years and in February and March.
Riders travels from all over to practice and race at Monster because they know what they’re gonna get, every time we open the gates: a world class track, that is expertly prepared and maintained by a motocross family that cares about every person who comes through the gates.

When Yamaha Motor Corporation selected Monster Mountain as the site of their November 2013 Media Intro for the 2014 YZ250F we had a pretty good idea what the top test riders and writers in the industry would think about our place. We didn’t think we’d end up on the cover of the 2014 Motocross Action Magazine and in a two-page spread in which MXA’s John Basher called Monster “One of our new favorite tracks in the world.”
Dirt Rider Associate Editor would make their February quote of the month: “If it weren’t for my wife and kid, I would have never left this track!”

You’re not going to want to miss the return of the “Top Kid Showcase” and our 1st Annual “Monster Vet Challenge”! This three-day event couples one of Monster Mountain’s most popular events ever, The Top Kid Showcase with an event every Vet rider we know has been begging for – a major Vet race just in time for everyone to une up for Mini-Os!
Once one of the premiere mini-bike events in the country, the Top Kid Showcase give riders from 4 to 24 the opportunity to show what they have against great competition on one of America’s premiere tracks! Riders are broken down by age group, class and talent level and have the chance to compete for great awards, huge trophies, and most of all the distinction of being “The Top Kid Champion” in each class.

The Monster Vet Challenge will feature Amateur, Intermediate, and Expert skill classes in each age group, plus a Vet Two-Stroke challenge. Vet riders in each age group can compete to be the top vet rider in each age group, plus race against all the top vets for the overall Monster Vet Challenge Championship! With a $400 purse for expert riders in each class, plus a $1,000 purse in the Open Vet Expert class, and a 50% payback in the Monster Top Vet Challenge, the overall purse for the weekend will be over $3,500!

Everyone who’s been to Monster Mountain knows exactly why it’s a special place. You only have to pull up to the fence by the Stairway to Heaven or roll down the hill toward the RV park once to get that “Holy Cow” feeling. Those that have seen it and ridden the Monster when its fully prepped almost universally call it their favorite track. But not everyone has seen it, so for those who haven’t experienced the magic that is Monster Mountain, this video is for you.
Want to ride a national caliber outdoor track with incredible elevation changes, insane dirt, and an outrageoously fun layout? Want it to be prepped like all the top stars were about to run a national on it? Well, you’re in the right place! Almost every Saturday and Sunday from April 15th until late December we prep monster’s incedible main outdoor track to race conditions. The entire track is watered and tilled. Everything is touched up – and looking like a post card at 10am. All it needs is you!
